As one of Britain's seaside hotspots, there are plenty of things to do in Brighton. It's a popular holiday destination for many, and we're sure you'll find lots of things to do as you explore its legendary seafront.

But how much of it is dog-friendly? Don't worry - we're here to help. We've listed our five favourite dog-friendly things to do in Brighton below.

Volks Railway

We recommend this as an easy, laid-back way to see the Brighton coast. You'll get to hop on the oldest working electric railway in the world (yes, the world) and the best bit? Your dog can hop on and play train conductor with you.

You'll head through the entire coastline around Brighton, making this a good first stop if you're here for a city break. You don't need to book either - just turn up and pay. Talk about easy.

Picturehouse has tried something different by hosting regular dog-friendly screenings across the UK, and the Brighton venue is lovely: a proper old-fashioned cinema with comfy seats, dog-friendly volume and a blanket for them to get snug.

You're probably going here anyway if you're visiting Brighton. But is it dog-friendly? Parts of it are, and you'll need your dog on the lead at other parts of the year.

It's a real must-visit though - miles of pebbled shore, lovely water and a great vibe for your pup to get all sandy in. We recommend it.

Fancy getting lost in a ravine-like park full of green lawns, colourful flowers and an overall nice vibe? Well, Brighton's Pavilion Gardens are just that.

Cushioned in the iconic Royal Pavilion, this little oasis is nice for you and your dog to stroll through. It's a great spot to get away from the Brighton crowds for a while, giving your dog a chance to socialise, sniff and explore.

North Laine is a Brighton hub. Full of independent pubs, shops and outdoor stalls, it's a splash of colour that adds a lot to the city's reputation.

You'll find a lot to see and experience here: art stalls, outdoor merchants, lots of shops and plenty of places to eat. It hosts a lot of Brighton's community spirit, and we recommend walking through here with your dog to give them lots to see and sniff.

Just make sure your dog is on the lead when walking through here, as it gets quite busy.
