There's a lot to do in Brighton, isn't there? So much that you should definitely put in a few pit stops for brunch, lunch or dinner. But we know it can get tough finding somewhere that accommodates your dog, too. We're here to help.
We've handpicked six of our favourite dog-friendly restaurants in Brighton.
Shelter Hall
Shelter Hall is a bustling food hub in Brighton - a range of food vendors, seaside views, live music and a go-to spot if you want to share a meal with some Brighton natives.
There are seven kitchens here serving everything from big pizza slices to pocket-sized bao buns. Just order from your table and take it all in.
It's a dog-friendly spot, and there's plenty of indoor, outdoor and balcony seating, so we're sure you'll find somewhere for your pup to chill out and get some attention if they want.
Burnt Orange
Wood-fired food, a warm atmosphere and a comfy nook to settle into: Burnt Orange is our pick if you need a place to unwind after a busy day seeing Brighton.
The menu screams comforting food, from skillet-baked potatoes and smoked pork neck to marinated lamb chops and miso aubergine.
Dogs are allowed on their lovely terrace, so we recommend this if you want one of Brighton's best spots to eat with some outdoor seating.
Purezza
Sustainable, vegan pizza you say? Let's give it a go.
Purezza has been changing the way people think about plant-based food since 2015, and its flagship restaurant in Brighton has remained popular since its opening. It offers banging vegan pizza with the usual Italian fare like pasta, salad and desserts.
Vegan pizza can get a bit iffy, but Purezza has found the solution: lip-smacking wood-fired pizza that'll make you wonder if it's the real thing.
The best part? They're dog-obsessed, and yours is welcome to come in and enjoy a bowl of water and some pats on the house.
No Catch
Continuing the vegan theme is the aptly-named No Catch: a vegan chippie right on Brighton's seafront. They're on a mission to change the traditional fish-and-chip shop model, and their tofu fish tastes amazing.
We're big fans of the tofu haddock, and it's shockingly close to the real deal. Of course, a chippie isn't complete without its chips, and No Catch doesn't disappoint: crispy, fluffy wedges that delight with some banging sauces.
The location is spot on, and thanks to their sustainability and dog-friendly policy, it's a win-win-win for you, your dog and the ocean. Nice.
Kindling
Chargrilled steaks at affordable prices in Brighton's East Street - what more could you ask for? Everyone loves a steak night, and yes, your dog can come along!
Kindling focuses on good food and value, and its casual atmosphere makes it a favourite for visitors and locals alike. They select their grass-fed beef based on quality, and you can see the chefs work their magic up close with their open kitchen.
They have limited dog-friendly seating, so make sure you book in advance. We recommend it as an endnote to a busy day in Brighton.
Pho
This nationwide chain has made a splash and we can see why: nourishing, brothy bowls of flavour and care.
They have some of the best noodles in Brighton, and we're big fans of the bún chicken. The staff always make you feel welcome, and if you're getting peckish while walking along Brighton's fresh seafront, you can't go wrong for Pho as a pit-stop.
Plus, pho is known for its rejuvenating qualities, and we can guarantee it'll give you the energy to attack the rest of the day. Pho loves dogs too, and they only ask that they're on the lead when you're in the restaurant.
