A bit about Lhasa Apsos

Lhasa Apsos, with their long, flowing coats and spirited personalities, are a breed steeped in history and charm. These small, regal dogs have a heritage as ancient as the mountains they were named after, and their loyal and loving nature makes them cherished companions in any home.

Why get dog insurance for your Lhasa Apso?

We offer a range of dog insurance policies to suit every need. Always check your policy details for limits and exclusions.
A cancer cell

Accident and illness cover

Just like any dog, Lhasa Apsos can fall ill at any age. Insurance can help cover the cost of treatment, surgery and medication, so they’ll always get the care they need.
A heart with an exclamation mark

Emergency care

Because you never know when your Lhasa Apso might need an unexpected (and pricey) out-of-hours trip to the vet.

Some Lhasa Apso health problems

Luxating patella

A condition where the kneecap (the patella) slips in and out of the groove it’s meant to sit in, leading to pain and difficulty walking.

Lhasa Apsos are generally healthy dogs, but like any breed, you might find they face certain health issues throughout their life. Dog insurance can help cover the cost of any unexpected illness that might arise – so they’ll always be able to get the care they need.

*Please note that these are general health concerns for Lhasa Apsos, and individual dogs may or may not experience these issues. Regular veterinary care, a balanced diet, proper exercise, and attention to breed-specific needs can help mitigate some of these health problems.
